Nationwide Awareness Campaign Underway
Victims of Irresponsible Chiropractic Education & Standards alerts patients of chiropractic across the United States to the dangers of neck manipulation.

Victims of Irresponsible Chiropractic Education & Standards (V. O.I. C.E. S.) is now blanketing large markets throughout the United States with outdoor advertisements. Billboards asking the questions, "Have you been injured by a chiropractic adjustment?" and "Are you aware that a chiropractic adjustment can cause a stroke?" are being erected in locations such as Atlanta, Miami, Chicago, Minneapolis and Austin, Texas.
The objective is to raise awareness about the incidence of chiropractic stroke and alert the general public to the potentially life altering risks of chiropractic treatment.
"Healthy young people, mostly between 25-45 years of age, are having strokes just because a chiropractor refused to inform them of the risks so that they could make informed health care choices," said Susan Hoffman the Founder of V. O.I. C.E. S. "After more than 60-years of irrefutable evidence, it is time for Chiropractors to begin acting like responsible healthcare providers and tell patients, 'we know there is a possibility spinal adjustment can cause a stroke, but now you should know it too.'"
It is the goal of V. O.I. C.E. S. and its supporters across the nation, who have committed to provide funding for advertisements for at least the next three years, to make sure the largest possible number of people in U. S. will know about the risks of chiropractic adjustment.
"It is critical for the public to know that along with the benefits of chiropractic come risks," Hoffman said. "These risks include stroke, permanent disability, or even death."
VOICES is a grassroots non-profit victims organization whose purpose is to raise awareness regarding the injuries, strokes, and deaths that all too often are the result of chiropractic upper neck manipulation.
