24 Protect Plus Provides Tips to Keep Kids Safe Having Fun While Bike Riding

24 Protect Plus Provides Tips to Keep Kids Safe Having Fun While Bike Riding

24 Protect Plus Reminds Members of the Importance of Overall Bicycle Safety

Norwalk, CT (PRWEB) July 3, 2008

24 Protect Plus (http://www.24protectplus. com/XPA/) (SM), a premier security program offered by Adaptive Marketing LLC (http://www. adaptivemarketing. com/ap9/24protect-plus. asp), understands that the joys of bicycle riding are not without risks. In fact, statistics show that some 300,000 kids end up in the local E. R. every year with anything from bumps and bruises to far more serious injuries -- all from bicycle-related mishaps.

Almost everyone can remember when they first learned to ride a bicycle: The sense of accomplishment they felt when the training wheels were removed and they zoomed down the street at breakneck speed. From 24ProtectPlus (http://www.24protectplus-program. com/24ProtectPlus_ResourceCenter. html)'s view, though, it's the "breakneck" part of things that can be a cause for concern. Bicycle riding is a blast, yes, but overlooking important safety measures could lead to a wild ride of another kind -- a one-way ticket to permanent injury.

With that in mind, 24 Protect Plus (http://ap9consumergateway. typepad. com/ap9_weblog/2006/10/ap9_24_protect_.html) offers some important and easy-to-follow bicycle safety tips for kids. And since plenty of adults out there are basically just "grown-up kids" themselves, any and all of these safety tips are important to ensure that the young bike riders of today can become the road racers and cycling enthusiasts of tomorrow:

-- Heads up. Plain and simple, a head injury can mean brain injury. So don't let kids mess around. Much like the motorcycle rider who thinks he looks cool driving down the road wearing only sunglasses for protection, children sometimes need to be protected from themselves. Don't let them tempt fate. All bike riders need helmets -- no exceptions. And that's not just 24ProtectPlus talking -- it's the law in most states.

-- What's your color? Kids who wear bright colors while bike riding and adorn their bikes with reflectors have the right idea. Motorists don't always pay attention to the road -- let alone the side of it -- so it's important to always be visible. If the journey calls for travel on heavily trafficked roads, have kids break out the extra-bright colors. Make sure kids are less concerned with clashing … and more concerned with crashing.

-- Don't hit the brakes! While kids may think they're fast becoming kings (and queens) of the roadways, it only takes one nasty spill to shake them up. Make sure that kids know not to hit the brakes on sand, wet leaves, and loose gravel or rocks.

-- Get the signals. Kids (and plenty of adults) need to know the proper hand signals when bike riding. Remember: Road riders are out there right alongside vehicles (driving with traffic; not against it). So make sure that kids know all the basic hand signals -- left turn, right turn, slow down, and stop. Safety on the road should start early.

So ride on, bike riders, kids and adults alike. Just be sure to take the fast lane to safety -- courtesy of 24 Protect Plus (http://privacymatters. mygreatdeals. com/).

If your middle finger overlaps your thumb, you can be a healthy Size 2
If your middle finger touches your thumb, you can be a healthy Size 4
If your middle finger doesn't reach your thumb, you can be a healthy Size 6

Sizes 4 and 6, as calculated above, are what the authors refer to as frame-adjusted size 2's. Your weight will be in the healthy range for women of your frame size but you'll look just as awesome as any (other) size 2.

Topics Include:
Popular Myths about size 2.  Why a frame-adjusted size is the best way to set your goal.  Why the "supercharged," interval training programs are the worst ways to go.  Size 2 after pregnancy? Yes you can.  How almost any woman can achieve a healthy, frame-adjusted size 2.

Included in the book are simple tests to gauge one's current status, a complete diet and exercise program as well as the 21-Day 2 for Life quick-start plan for rapid results. For those of us who 'occasionally' find ourselves a bit pressed for time there's also the unique Size 2 Express Core & Tone program for essential core strengthening and toning in less than 10 minutes a day.

Seoul is Not the Ultimate Destination to Travel Korea -- Korea's Rural Sites are Rising Through 'Rural-20 Project'

Seoul is Not the Ultimate Destination to Travel Korea -- Korea's Rural Sites are Rising Through 'Rural-20 Project'

Increased interest in Korean rural areas tourism through the 'Rural-20' project. A variety of Korea's genuine history, tradition and culture by four-themed tour programs.

(PRWEB) November 9, 2010

Seoul, Korea, November 9, 2010 -- What images come to mind when you think of 'Korea'?' Most people mention Kimchi, Hanbok and Taekwondo. Then where is the most representative place to travel in Korea? Most people are likely to choose 'Seoul'. Seoul has rapidly developed as an international metropolis in such a short time and became one of the largest tourist attractions where 80 million travelers annually visit. Seoul is great for shopping, its public security is well maintained and public transportation also comes in handy in Seoul.

However, 'Seoul' is not the only place you can visit when travelling Korea. It is actually the opposite. It would be wiser to travel to rural areas if foreigners truly would like to experience Korean history and tradition. Thanks to programs like Temple Stay, the number of people who say they have experienced the 'veritable Korean spirit and tradition' has increased significantly. The unique charm that comes from a long history and traditional culture in addition to breathtaking scenery is said to be a secret of Korean rural areas' popularity.

The 'Rural-20' project is the full-fledged attempt at the government level to introduce in earnest such Korean rural areas abroad. Rural-20is the project designed by the Ministry for Food, Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries to proactively introduce Korea's rural areas, taking advantage of the momentum of the G-20 Seoul Summit 2010.

The project consists of four themes which include Experience Travel, Nature Travel, Orient Travel and Well-being Travel. Travelers can experience the original customs and cultures which only can be found in Korea's rural areas through 'Experience Travel', Korea's magnificent landscapes through 'Nature Travel', the long history and antique ruins of rural areas through 'Orient Travel' and the comforts of life through 'Wellbeing Travel' while enjoying the healthy food of the countryside.

Rural-20 tour courses consist of abundant programs through which tourists are able to directly see, feel and experience the Korean history and tradition - making fermented soybean lump, Korean soy sauce, taffy, kites and traditional sweets, digging for Manila clams in mud flat, building a traditional thatched house, experiencing a conventional wedding, learning about the culture of classical scholars, rafting, making salt at a salt farm, brewing wine with sweet persimmons and traditional alcohol, weaving Hwamunseok, throwing rice cake and playing Nongak (traditional Korean music performance).

David (US, 43) who has visited Oeam Maul through 'Rural-20 supporters program' said, "I have not had a chance to travel rural areas even though I come to Korea often on business, but this 'Rural-20 project' became quite an experience. I hope there are even more programs with which tourists can experience Korean tradition, history and beauty of rural areas like this." He continued, "Interest in eastern culture is widely increasing worldwide these days. Rural-20 project needs to constantly pay attention to provide foreigners with such great opportunities."

For reference, the 'Rural-20 supporters program', which is ongoing since last August for foreigners living in Korea, is operating successfully. The program will be running until the end of November 2010. More detailed information about applying for the program can be found at the Rural-20 homepage.

Cell-nique is Giving the Bull a Run for its Money

Cell-nique is Giving the Bull a Run for its Money

Energy drinks are the craze for quick, easy pick-me-ups, which undoubtedly leads to crash and burn. The new Super Green Drinks offer sustainable energy and natural nourishment.

Weston, CT (Vocus) September 29, 2010

Do you see your glass as half full or half empty? Have you ever considered that it may depend on what you are filling it with in the first place? The U. S. is known for the fast-paced, high-performance lifestyles that seek out an energy boost in both the morning and in the afternoon. Many people look to coffee, soda or high-sugar energy beverages to keep them going. While these traditional methods may give the temporary energy to charge like a bull, they also leave your body crashing and burning in just a few hours. The side-effects, along with the growing concerns on health and wellness, are leading people to switch from soda to bottled water, which nutritionists say is the healthiest beverage to drink…until now. Cell-nique (http://www. cell-nique. com) is the first Super Green Drink available that has 31 organic super foods to hydrate and refuel your body with abundant nourishment.

Isotonic beverages are a favorite among athletes and bodybuilders who are looking to energize and replenish the minerals lost through sweating after a hard workout. The glucose water along with some minerals and vitamins will certainly boost the body; however, there is no sustainable nourishment. Many of these traditional energy drinks are chock full of artificial sweeteners, flavors, caffeine and preservatives which may ultimately lead to early cellular and physical degeneration and a higher risk of disease later in life. In fact, some countries like France and Denmark have completely banned conventional energy drinks due to their extremely high and potentially dangerous levels of metabolism-boosting ingredients, such as caffeine and Taurine. Studies from Johns Hopkins University suggest these ingredients can leave the body feeling jittery, cause insomnia, increase anxiety, panic, stomach problems and some cardiac arrhythmias.

The way to daily sustainable energy and long-term sustainable health is to ingest high quality, super nutritive foods such as organic vegetables and fruits. Cell-nique (http://www. cell-nique. com) aids the body in detoxifying energy-depleting pollutants and chemicals. It assists in nourishing and building the immune system, organ function, energy reserve and mental acuity with foods rich in vitamins, minerals, amino acids, and vegetable proteins.

The formula in Cell-nique offers sustained energy with the plant-based ingredients that supply protein and oxygenation to the cells. The incredibly high antioxidants and phyto-nutrients supply food that the body craves but does not usually receive with the average American diet, high in sugar and saturated fats.

"For stamina, focus, energy, balance, calmness, mental clarity, strength building, bowel regularity, sleep, mood and cravings, feed the body the pure simple nourishment it craves", suggests Donna Ratner, Certified Health Coach and Co-Founder.

The "Green Hammer" is given to individuals who are instrumental in bringing the concept of building residential and commercial buildings - "Green" meaning environmentally friendly and sustainable into the future. In building to the FGBC Standards, and receiving certification, a developer or builder has committed themselves to better building practices which maintains the integrity of the surrounding and living environments. Drew Smith was instrumental in the development of FGBCÂ’s Green Standards. Drew has been involved in educating builders and developers in the affordability and value that building a property Green can bring to a project. He has been responsible for bringing several projects not only local recognition, but national awards for achieving standards that far exceed traditional building standards. Drew has spoken at the South Eastern Builders Conference (SEBC) and Green Tends Conference on the "Sustainability of Building Green"; once a project is complete how to maintain that facility in order to keep it Green for the future. Drew's commitment to building and maintaining Green Projects is what lead him to form Two Trails, Inc. His company is focused around "Preventative Property Maintenance" and "Green Consulting" which goes hand in hand with his involvement with FGBC. To be a founding member of FGBC is an accomplishment in itself. To see the organization become a leading force for the Florida Home Builders Association in developing and adopting a Green Building Standard shows how far the efforts of a few have spread to the general population creating a demand for homes and businesses that are sustainable. Drew is excited to be a part of "creating a better environment not only for today but for future generations."

Breakfast and Sandwich Meats in the US

Breakfast and Sandwich Meats in the US

Dublin (PRWEB) November 28, 2005

Research and Markets (http://www. researchandmarkets. com/reports/c28377 (http://www. researchandmarkets. com/reports/c28377)) has announced the addition of Breakfast & Sandwich Meats - in the United States to their offering

The breakfast and lunch meat market is projected to reach $9.8 billion for 2005. Sales growth was strongest in 2003-2004, during the low-carb craze. In the four sales channels examined in this report (grocery stores, drugstores, mass merchandisers, and natural supermarkets), sales increased 15% between 2000 and 2005.

In this report, we clearly identify the principal external factors driving or curtailing growth in the breakfast and lunch meat market. For manufacturers of breakfast and lunch meats, the demise of the low-carb diet translated to markedly lower sales in 2005 than had been enjoyed in 2003 and 2004. As always, convenience is a major factor. Co-branding between meat processors and plastics manufacturers has led to the "meat in a tub", and precooked bacon and brown-and-serve sausages have made preparation more convenient. Not to be overlooked are the various health issues surrounding packaged meats. Concern about nitrites and preservatives in food have spurred consumers to look for natural or organic alternatives, contributing to increased sales through the natural food channel.

Exclusive consumer research reveals the attitudes, needs and behavior of breakfast and lunch meat consumers, with analysis broken down both by demographic characteristics, and by meat type (breakfast and lunch meats are analyzed together and separately).

Six years of specific sales data provide a factual and impartial presentation of the market as a whole. we also evaluate the performance of individual sectors in the market (sliced lunch meat, bacon, refrigerated and frozen frankfurters, dinner sausages, breakfast sausage/ham, non-sliced lunch meat, and frozen sausages), and provides information about the major companies and brands (almost half of the market is controlled by Kraft, Sara Lee, ConAgra, Hormel, and Johnsonville).

We use the SPSS forecasting package to create a five-year forecast of U. S. retail sales in the breakfast and lunch meats market, revealing potential opportunities for growth and product development.

We define packaged breakfast and sandwich meat as follows:

Refrigerated and frozen bacon (including turkey and reduced fat bacons)

Refrigerated frankfurters (hot dogs)

Refrigerated dinner sausage (including bratwursts, Polish sausage and Italian sausage)

Refrigerated breakfast sausage and ham

Frozen breakfast and sandwich meat (including frozen breakfast sausage, frozen bratwursts and Steak-UMM products)

Refrigerated non-sliced sandwich meat (including non-sliced bologna or other sandwich meat and salami)

Despite the title of this report, it is important to note that breakfast and lunch meats, as defined by us, can transcend these mealtimes. In some cases, such as bratwursts, Polish sausage and Italian sausage, dinnertime is the most common time for usage.

This definition does not include:

Deli meats requiring counter help for slicing

Pre-formed hamburger patties

Ground beef

Frozen breakfast sandwiches, which contain breakfast meats

Lunch meats sold in kits (e. g. Lunchables)

This report contains US IRI InfoScan data.

FASTAFF Travel Nurses Recognize Dedicated Recruiter with Top Honor

FASTAFF Travel Nursing, a leader in the travel healthcare staffing industry

Denver, CO (PRWEB) December 7, 2008

FASTAFF Travel Nursing, a national travel healthcare staffing agency, recently named Titus Thomas as its Recruiter of the Year. Thomas is a recruiter and recruiter manager with FASTAFF. He started with the travel nursing agency in May 2000 and left at the end of 2004 to pursue another opportunity. FASTAFF specializes in rapid response travel healthcare staffing, which involves placing nurses on short-term assignments across the country, often within a week of receiving an order from a healthcare facility. For Thomas, getting to know the travel nurses and understanding their needs and the pressures of the job are what makes him and FASTAFF so successful.

"I enjoy getting to know the nurses, and I am often more than just a recruiter," said Thomas. "Sometimes I'm a career counselor, a therapist and even a friend. I have solid relationships with my nurses, and I get great satisfaction knowing that I can impact their lives."

Thomas has placed travel nurses in assignments that have enabled them to achieve financial goals, obtain more flexibility to spend time with their families or pursue other interests, and gain the freedom to travel and take on assignments that fit their specific needs.

Prior to joining FASTAFF, Thomas was a recruiter in the IT industry. He was born in India but has been in Colorado since 1980. Express Scripts Drops Call Center Turnover 39% With PeopleAnswers

Express Scripts Drops Call Center Turnover 39% With PeopleAnswers

The PeopleAnswers behavioral pre-employment assessment proves highly effective in slashing employee turnover. In a traditionally high-turnover call center environment, Express Scripts experienced a 39% drop in employee turnover compared to employees hired outside of the PeopleAnswers system.

Dallas, TX (PRWEB) October 4, 2008

Express Scripts, a Fortune 150 company headquartered in St. Louis, MO, uses Dallas-based PeopleAnswers to provide employee selection software that reduces employee turnover and related expenses across a vast employment network, thereby maximizing the service level in Express Scripts' multiple call centers.

A recent year-long case study involving 1,000 Express Scripts employees confirmed the value of using PeopleAnswers: employees "Recommended" by the PeopleAnswers assessment had a turnover rate 39% lower than employees who were hired without being assessed.

Kristi Robinson, Vice President of Talent Acquisition at Express Scripts, knows the benefits of retaining well-trained, productive employees over the long term, "We implemented the PeopleAnswers software tool to help us select candidates that are more likely to excel in a call center environment. Our Patient Care Advocates deal with urgent needs regarding patients' prescriptions, so the work is very detail-oriented. The significant impact that PeopleAnswers has on our turnover allows us to recruit, hire, and train fewer people and focus our energies on maintaining our high standards for customer service."

The recent hire/termination study provided strong evidence that PeopleAnswers' patent-pending pre-employment assessment solution helps Express Scripts in two major ways: employees hired using the behavioral insights extracted by the PeopleAnswers assessment are much more likely to stay with the company longer; and, using custom Performance Profiles™, PeopleAnswers can identify "Recommended" candidates who generate lower turnover rates compared to employees hired using traditional résumé-and-interview methods.

Ira Grossman, Vice President of Operations at PeopleAnswers, described the process that drives major turnover reductions like the one experienced at Express Scripts, "We've established a quick, proven process that helps our clients identify new job candidates who have similar behavioral traits as current successful incumbents. The software does the heavy lifting for you, identifying the candidates most likely to enjoy a specific work style, company culture, and who have the behavioral makeup to succeed over the long term. These traits aren't discernible via résumé reviews or a 30-minute interview."

MDs Use New Drug-Free Acupressure Technique to Relieve Chronic and Acute Pain, Often in Minutes

MDs Use New Drug-Free Acupressure Technique to Relieve Chronic and Acute Pain, Often in Minutes

Conventional medicine treats pain with symptom-suppressing drugs, but drugs can be ineffective, addictive, or have side effects. Now medical experts say that pain’s underlying causes are often emotional rather than physical, and many health care practitioners use a simple acupressure technique called EFT to relieve it.

San Francisco, CA (PRWEB) September 10, 2006

An estimated 70 million Americans are affected by chronic pain. This pain, which can last for months or years, interferes with every aspect of their lives, including work, travel, home, and hobbies. Chronic pain contributes to a host of secondary problems, such as depression, insomnia, irritability, and anxiety, which are themselves health risks. Conventional physicians treat pain with powerful prescription drugs, electrical stimulation, nerve blocks, and other procedures, but these treatments don’t always work and they can have serious side effects. Worse, none of them cure pain; they only suppress or manage symptoms.

“That’s because conventional treatments don’t address chronic pain’s underlying causes,” says Texas emergency room physician Thomas Flowers, D. O. “The very best way I know to reduce or eliminate chronic pain is with an acupressure tapping technique called EFT, or Emotional Freedom Techniques. EFT usually works within a few minutes, and it’s easy to learn and easy to use. In fact, anyone can do it.” The procedure is explained in a free manual that can be downloaded from http://www. emofree. com/downloadeftmanual. asp? ref=prwchronicpain2cj (http://www. emofree. com/downloadeftmanual. asp? ref=prwchronicpain2cj)

Chronic pain’s true cause, says Dr. Flowers, is a disruption of the body’s energy system caused by stored trauma, unhappy memories, or toxic emotions. Gentle fingertip tapping on key acupuncture points combined with focused thought corrects the disruption, allows energy to flow normally, and alleviates symptoms all at the same time.

“I’ve been privileged to use EFT to significantly improve symptoms such as migraine headaches and chronic neck and back pain,” he says. “I even used it to relieve the pain of a broken arm and the acute pain experienced by a woman the day after she had four teeth extracted.”

EFT practitioners around the world estimate that more than half of those who try it for chronic pain experience significant relief, often within minutes. If the pain returns, they can tap it away again, or if they successfully address the situation’s core issues, the pain may disappear permanently.

EFT was originally designed to treat psychological problems such as fear, anxiety, and phobias, but its practitioners soon discovered its ability to relieve all types of pain. Pain relief is now a leading application of EFT.

Over 300,000 -- including thousands of health care practitioners -- have downloaded EFT’s free manual from

Http://www. emofree. com/downloadeftmanual. asp? ref=prwchronicpain2cj (http://www. emofree. com/downloadeftmanual. asp? ref=prwchronicpain2cj)
And an additional 10,000 download it every month. The manual is available in nine languages, and EFT practitioners around the world, especially in the U. S., Canada, Europe, Japan, and Australia, teach EFT classes and work with clients.

New, Clinically Proven Medicated Discs Heal Canker Sores Quickly - Cankermelts-GX Now Sold at Ritzman Natural Health Pharmacies

New, Clinically Proven Medicated Discs Heal Canker Sores Quickly - Cankermelts-GX Now Sold at Ritzman Natural Health Pharmacies

50 million Americans are plagued by canker sores recurrently. Researchers at the University of Washington School of Dentistry say Cankermelts-GX medicated discs with glycyrrhiza herbal extract (GX) have been shown to shorten the duration of new canker sores and heal them within one to four days. Cankermelts-GX is now available at Ritzman Natural Health Pharmacies.

WADSWORTH, OH (PRWEB) February 18, 2005

Orahealth USA, Inc. today announced that Cankermelts-GX, the first clinically proven over-the-counter medication to speed the healing process and relieve the pain of canker sores, is now available at Ritzman Natural Health Pharmacies.

Canker sores afflict 50 million Americans (20 percent of the population) numerous times each year. Researchers at the University of Washington School of Dentistry say Cankermelts - GX medicated discs with glycyrrhiza herbal extract (GX) have been shown to shorten the duration of new sores and heal them within one to four days.

“Preliminary trials tested glycyrrhiza extract delivered as an oral topical, timed-release patch on subjects with newly developed canker sores,” said Michael Martin, DMD, Ph. D., associate professor, Department of Oral Medicine, University of Washington. “Patients using the GX patch on a sore up to 16 hours per day reported healing times between one and three days for 98% of the ulcers treated. These results are remarkable considering that the typical healing time is seven to 14 days. Patients also reported that the discs relieved pain while they were in place.”

The oral patch is a unique delivery system that adheres (within one to two minutes) to the inside of the mouth on or near the sore. As the medicine is delivered, the disc naturally dissolves over two to six hours. Cankermelts-GX can be used comfortably during any normal activity, including sleeping and exercising, and do not interfere with normal functions such as swallowing or talking.

“At Ritzman’s, our philosophy is to provide our customers with a full line of products and services that promote complete wellness leading to healthier and happier lives. Cankermelts-GX offers a solution to our customers that have previously had to endure a week or two of misery waiting for a canker sore to heal,” said Jon Fiume, Vice President of Retail Operations for Ritzman Natural Health Pharmacies.

Introduced in retail stores last September, Cankermelts-GX has quickly become the best selling remedy for canker sores wherever it is sold.

“As a lifelong canker sore sufferer, I tested more than 250 different ingredients before discovering the medicine in Cankermelts-GX,” says Jeff Haley, founder and chief scientist, Orahealth USA Inc. “We are very enthusiastic about our partnership with Ritzman Natural Health Pharmacies and are happy to provide its customers with the best canker sore treatment available.”

The Adventures Of Scuba Jack Educates Children On The Importance Of Preserving The Rainforests With the Release of Activity Book, "Rainforests&quot

The Adventures Of Scuba Jack Educates Children On The Importance Of Preserving The Rainforests With the Release of Activity Book, "Rainforests"

The Adventures of Scuba Jack announces the release of their latest activity book, Rainforests. Rainforests introduces children to one of Earth's most amazing ecosystems and the wondrous creatures that dwell within, and teaches them that they are not too young to make a difference in the world. Today's children are tomorrow's world leaders, and educating them on preserving the rainforests, respecting our environment is critical to the long term security and protection of our natural resources.

Gloucester, MA (PRWEB) November 5, 2010

The Adventures of Scuba Jack announces the release of their latest activity book, Rainforests. Rainforests introduces children to one of Earth's most amazing ecosystems and the wondrous creatures that dwell within, and teaches them that they are not too young to make a difference in the world. Today's children are tomorrow's world leaders, and educating them on preserving the rainforests, respecting our environment is critical to the long term security and protection of our natural resources.

Countless studies and articles have all revealed the same thing: rainforests are disappearing at an alarming rate. The good news is that there are a lot of people who want to save rainforests and are working tirelessly to accomplish just that. The bad news is that saving the rainforests is not going to be easy. It will take the efforts of many people working together in order to ensure rainforests and the flora and fauna living in them will be around for our children to benefit from. Rainforests provide a home to many plants and animals, help stabilize the world’s climate, protect against flood, drought and erosion, and are a source for medicines and foods.

Children are the future of the world, and educating them about the rainforests and the destruction they face is critical to saving them. The children of today are the adults of tomorrow and they will be making critical choices and decisions that affect our planet. A key part of saving rainforests and the environment is encouraging all people to live in ways that do less harm to the world around them. Driving fuel efficient cars, conserving water, turning off extra lights, and recycling are all ways that you can teach children to reduce their impact on the environment and the world. Supporting companies that operate in ways that minimize damage to our planet and comply with rules and regulation established to protect not only rainforests but ecosystems throughout the world will set a memorable example for children.

Kids learn through example. They need to see how protecting and preserving the earth is important to us, not just by our words, but by our actions as well. Children know that protecting our planet is important, but they don't always know how they can make a difference or what they can do. Setting examples at home and at school will help them learn the many ways that they can help make a difference every day.

It is the goal of The Adventures of Scuba Jack to teach children to develop a relationship with the natural environment. It is the responsibility of today’s adults to teach children what they need to help save our planet, not only for themselves and their children, but for many generations to come. The more children experience nature and its wonders, the more environmentally concerned and active they are likely to become.

In an effort to introduce children to rainforests and the amazing creatures that live within them, The Adventures of Scuba Jack has created a learning activity book called Rainforests that is filled with crafts, activities and worksheets about rainforest animals that are sure to delight. Children will practice thinking, writing, counting and fine motor skills, all while having fun. The Adventures of Scuba Jack's goal is to introduce children to their role as stewards of our planet, while fostering an understanding and appreciation of the world around them. Protecting the environment is critical to the conservation of precious natural resources and the continued health of our world and teaching the children of today is an important step towards insuring a future commitment to global preservation from the leaders of tomorrow.
