By integrating Sharp’s packaging and serialization services with TraceLink’s collaborative supply network, Sharp’s 80+ pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical and OTC customers will gain improved performance, visibility and coordination throughout contract packaging and finished goods distribution.

These mandates include item-level serialization of drug products and the establishment of an electronic pedigree chain of custody.
Sharp and TraceLink plan to roll out the integrated solution to joint Life Science customers starting in the first quarter of 2011.
