For many couples the dream of starting a family begins with planning the right time to conceive. For couples with infertility, the dream of having a baby can begin with financial planning to cover the cost of infertility treatment or adoption. For couples with infertility, a research study being offered at a fertility center located in Hoffman Estates, IL, may be of interest.
Karande & Associates, S. C. is participating in a research study testing a long-acting investigational medication. This study will allow women to undergo an in vitro fertilization (IVF) cycle using this investigational drug at no cost to qualifying participants. There are strict criteria that need to meet in order to qualify for the study, such as age and health. "Our center has had excellent success with this study, and many couples have achieved a pregnancy," states Dr. Sigal Klipstein, a Reproductive Endocrinologist at Karande and Associates, S. C., "There is, however, no guarantee that you will become pregnant."
The long acting study medication, which is a modified version of a daily medication already approved, will eliminate the need for daily injections. Daily injections are the most common complaint from women currently undergoing infertility treatment.
Dr. Klipstein states, "It is a privilege to help infertile couples. I feel fortunate that our center was selected to be among an elite group of fertility centers in the United State contributing to the advancement of science, while at the same time helping couples fulfill their dreams of becoming families."
Karande & Associates, S. C. is in the process of screening potential subjects for this study. If you would like more information regarding the study, please visit us at www. karandeivf. com or contact the study coordinator at (847) 884-8884 ext. 239.
