CORGI's pilot light is finally switched off

Since the change of the regulatory body that monitors safety within the British gas industry that came into effect on the 1st of April earlier this year, the new Gas Safe Register of complying companies and individuals boasts enhanced safety measures that make the whole sector far safer than under the previous governing body of CORGI. Following a review of the regulations in place under CORGI in 2006, the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) found that the registration scheme needed modernising and improving.
