New In-Home Care Service Celebrates Opening by Offering 24 Free Hours of Live-In Care to First 100 Families

In-home care service serves Western Washington and offers a free consultation and free offer for the first 100 families to enroll.

(PRWEB) January 27, 2005

Beginning in February 2005, families of the 309,000+ seniors living in King, Snohomish and Pierce counties will have another option when deciding how best to ensure the safety and happiness of their loved ones. Fedelta Home Care is a new in-home care service catering to seniors who wish to remain in the comfort of their own homes vs. moving to an assisted living facility or to the home of a relative. The first 100 families to enroll will receive 24 hours of free in-home care for a loved one.

Fedelta Home Care provides in-home nonmedical services including meal preparation, medication reminders, errand running, light housekeeping, pet care, laundry, and companionship for seniors. Fedelta Home Care is a Washington State licensed agency with care supervised by Geriatric Care Managers. Geriatric Care Managers possess a deep understanding of the complex senior issues and supervise a team of experienced caregivers to ensure high quality services.

Steve Meyer, founder and President of Fedelta Home Care says, “People turn to in-home care because they want their loved ones to be safe in their own homes, but they can’t always check in every day to make sure everything’s okay. In-home care provides the best of all worlds: mom’s safe, she has someone to keep her company, and she’s in the comfort of her own home.”

Given the increasing ranks of seniors in Washington State (500,000 in 2002; projected to double by 2020) and ongoing increases in health care costs, the number of people receiving in-home care is also expected to rise. Fedelta Home Care helps families decide when itÂ’s time to hire a caregiver and which services make the most sense for their situation. The company also sponsors free seminars on various aging topics and provides referrals to trusted senior care specialists in the area.

Families can learn more about in-home care during a free consultation from Fedelta Home Care.
