Unity Cambridge, Greater Boston's fastest-growing "New Thought" spiritual community has announced that the church has declared Sunday August 2, 2009 as a special Day of Unity and Healing calling on the interfaith community, Cambridge residents and the Greater Boston community to join them at their weekly celebration service at 11:00 A. According to Carole Cornelison, Unity Cambridge's Steering Committee chairperson, "Unity Cambridge sees the recent incident surrounding the arrest of Dr. Gates as an opportunity to open a dialogue and promote healing and understanding across racial and cultural lines."
