CVAC™ Systems and GOING VERTICAL, San Diego to Study High School and College Athletes' Performance and the Effects of the CVAC Process as a Safe, Natural Training-enhancement Tool

CVAC™ Systems and GOING VERTICAL, San Diego to Study High School and College Athletes' Performance and the Effects of the CVAC Process as a Safe, Natural Training-enhancement Tool

Together, CVAC Systems and GOING VERTICAL, San Diego will study the effects of the cyclic variations in altitude conditioning™ (CVAC) process as part of the physical conditioning, athletic performance, and sports training activities that are ongoing at the San Diego-based training facility.

Temecula, CA (PRWEB) February 4, 2007

CVAC Systems, Inc. announced the installation of a system into the GOING VERTICAL Athletic Performance Training center in San Diego. GOING VERTICAL will study the value of the CVAC process in sports training programs for high school and college-level, elite and Olympic-hopeful athletes. The study, expected to commence in February, allows CVAC Systems, Inc. to explore this use in a commercial environment.

CVAC Systems comes into this agreement armed with initial scientific data supporting the claim that the CVAC process enhances physical fitness and relevant data from decades of published research focused on the benefits of high-altitude acclimatization and intermittent hypoxia in fitness and athletic enhancement. "We look forward to providing a safe alternative in athletic performance enhancement for the younger clientele served through GOING VERTICAL with the hope that young people will not be tempted to use banned performance-enhancing substances, especially when the CVAC has potential to provide so much more," said Allen J. Ruszkowski, President and CEO of CVAC Systems.

"We look forward to explore the viability of this process and its potential incorporation into sports training-enhancement programs," said Skip Dalrymple, GOING VERTICAL, San Diego.

About CVAC Systems, Inc.

The CVAC process encompasses scientifically validated intermittent hypoxic (high altitude) training (IHT) to trigger the human body's natural high-altitude adaptation response. The high-altitude adaptation response is scientifically understood to evoke increases in oxygenation of tissues. The CVAC process has the proven ability to enhance tissue oxygenation and the potential ability to remove toxins from the body. This suggests that it could benefit individuals who experience the limit of human performance, whether it is a result of athletic exertion, sickness, or the aging process. Moreover, CVAC Systems is focusing its efforts to study the potential value of the CVAC process in managing and treating diabetes, insulin resistance, and metabolic syndrome.
