Tara Healing, LLC celebrates its Grand Opening in the Alberta Arts district by hosting an Open House during Last Thursday on July 28, 2005. As one of only two practitioners of Holographic Repatterning® in Portland, Tara Herrick will bring a unique healing art to one of the most progressive neighborhoods in Portland.

The thriving Alberta Arts district has a new neighbor - Tara Healing, LLC. Situated right across from the Concordia New Seasons Market, the new location is ideal for a purveyor of natural, energetic healing.
Tara Healing, LLC is the creation of Tara Herrick, M. S. Herrick holds a master’s degree in psychology, and is a traditional Usui Reiki Master, author, and natural medicine researcher. In working with clients, Herrick draws on her diverse background to deliver individualized care and a compassionate ear. Her services include Reiki, a relatively new form of energy work called Holographic Repatterning®, and discussion groups for parents.
Reiki (pronounced ray´ key) has become a widely accepted form of energy medicine. It is a gentle, hands-on, energy healing therapy often used to treat stress and pain.
Herrick is one of only two practitioners in Portland to offer Holographic Repatterning®. A typical session looks much like a conventional counseling session with the added benefit of energy medicine. Holographic Repatterning® can be effective for people who want to overcome emotional and physical obstacles in order to improve relationships, advance their career, address physical ailments or addictions, and discover their life purpose.
Tara Healing, LLC will also host Spiritual Parenting discussion groups. These are designed for parents who want to raise spiritually aware and conscientious children. The groups allow parents to discuss everyday parenting challenges and brainstorm approaches that encourage children to be mindful and aware of their surroundings.
“This new location will allow me to reach progressive individuals interested in their health and well-being,” says Herrick. “It will emphasize personal growth and spiritual development.”
To celebrate the new location, Herrick is hosting an Open House on July 28, at the same time that Alberta Street is bustling with shoppers, artists and vendors partaking in Last Thursday. The event will run from 6pm–10pm at 5251 NE 33rd Ave., directly west of the Concordia New Seasons Market.
Herrick hopes that the Open House will give attendees the opportunity to learn about what she does and ask questions about the healing arts she practices. The event will be open to old friends and new friends alike, and will offer complimentary snacks, home brew, and wine.
