Steven C. Mynsberge, senior vice president in charge of Healthcare Services at McCarthy Building Companies, Inc. has been appointed to the Editorial Advisory Board of Healthcare Building Ideas, a national healthcare publication.

A well known industry expert in the healthcare construction industry, Mynsberge currently serves as senior vice president, in charge of Healthcare Services for McCarthyÂ’s Southern California Division. A McCarthy employee of 24 years, Mynsberge is responsible for identifying, pursuing and supervising the delivery of preconstruction and construction services on all healthcare projects for McCarthy in Southern California. Currently, he is overseeing nearly $900 million in healthcare facility construction for the builder in the region.

MynsbergeÂ’s extensive healthcare construction experience consists of a number of notable healthcare facilities, including Hoag Memorial Hospital Presbyterian; Cedars-Sinai; Little Company of Mary Hospital; Kaiser Permanente; Huntington Memorial Hospital; Loma Linda University Medical Center; and Pomona Valley Hospital.

Mynsberge earned his bachelorÂ’s degree in civil engineering from the University of Notre Dame in Notre Dame, Ind. He currently serves as a member of the State of California Hospital Building Safety Board as well as chairman of the Ad Hoc Committee on Emergency Generator Sizing.
