October's Libra Lunar Cycle is super charged by a New Moon Solar Eclipse on Monday Oct. 3rd at 6:33 AM EDT and then again by a Full Moon Lunar Eclipse on Oct. 17th at 7:04 AM EDT. According to Claudia Thompson, Moonsurfing. com's lunar astrologer, "The power of Monday's solar eclipse will unfold over the next 2 weeks and take on added significance 6 months from now. It kicks-off a fresh start in your relationships and joint ventures sparking ideas and new ways to share your creative passions.
"This planetary set-up is positive and supportive... downright lucky. However, it's dependent on a positive attitude and well-thought-out intentions that are aligned with where you really want to go and who you really want your traveling companions to be. Envisioning the future is an important part of the New Moon process and you can expect favorable long-term results for all your positive efforts."
Monday's New Moon solar eclipse begins its visible journey northwest of Spain with an annular eclipse (meaning that there's a ring of sunshine encircling the Moon) lasting for 4 minutes and 11 seconds. It then becomes a partial solar eclipse traveling southeast through Portugal and finally through Africa. The whole eclipse lasts 3 hours and 28 minutes.
"Venus, goddess of love and beauty, rules this Libra Lunar Cycle, and balance is her theme. Weave this theme through every area of your life to make the most this month's dynamic eclipse energies", suggests Ms. Thompson.
The Full Moon on Monday October 17th is accompanied by a lunar eclipse. This is a partial lunar eclipse, meaning that only part of the moon passes through the shadow of the earth. It will be visible in Western North America before sunrise, in Australia and Asia after sunset, in New Zealand late at night, and in Alaska and Hawaii, a few hours after midnight. The eclipse is nearly an hour-long beginning at 7:04 AM EDT.
"Lunar eclipses produce internal and emotional stress encouraging you to release old habits, fears and counterproductive patterns" emphasizes Claudia, "expect information that was previously hidden to be revealed. Business deals or settlements could be finalized as something of importance reaches a grand conclusion."
"Good news concerning financial matters could be popped. It all depends on whether you've honored your agreements and kept your promises. You could be challenged by indecision, a lack of healthy boundaries, ideals that spring from the mind instead of from the heart and a misguided sense of justice and fairness resulting in the blame game. If you'll focus on cooperation and win-win solutions, you'll strike a balance between the idealism in your mind and the reality of the practical world."

View yourself and the world with a loving heart as well as an open mind and you'll see your relationships and your life go to a whole new level."
