Greater BostonÂ’s largest United Van Lines agent, Humboldt Storage and Moving in Canton, Mass. has recently appointed Meredith Connell as Director of Client Relations at Humboldt Storage and Moving.
As Director of Client Relations, Connell is responsible for ensuring that the relocation needs and requirements of HumboldtÂ’s clients are being fulfilled. As manager of the Customer Service Department, she works closely with her team of five relocation coordinators to ensure total client satisfaction. She is also a member of the Senior Management team.
Connell has worked in the relocation industry for more than 10 years. Prior to Humboldt, Connell was employed by Crown Relocations in Spain and was responsible for business development of the Spanish market. Fluent in Spanish, she established CrownÂ’s first Spanish office in Barcelona and eventually oversaw the initiative to centralize the companyÂ’s activity in Iberia from an office in Madrid. After having spent close to three years working abroad, Connell returned to the U. S. and established a regional representative office in the Boston area for Crown Relocations, where she focused on business development before becoming part of the Humboldt team.
Prior to working for Crown Relocations, Connell managed key multinational accounts at Interdean. Interconex of Boston and received numerous awards for “Excellence in Customer Service”. Connell holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Business from Bentley College, Waltham. A member of the Boston Young Professionals Organization, when she is not working, Connell enjoys traveling, tennis and many other outdoor activities. A native of Scituate, Mass., Connell resides in Boston.
