Mequoda Group, LLC, a media company dedicated to helping publishers build better websites, announces the date and location for its annual event, Mequoda Summit 2005: Internet Strategies for Information Marketers. The summit will be held at the Courtyard Boston Tremont Hotel in Boston, MA on September 14 & 15, 2005.
This event is geared toward publishing executives, Internet managers and information marketers who want to create new online revenue streams, sell more print products online and build more profitable websites.
"The rapid growth of online marketing and publishing has created an urgent need for shared industry best practices," said Don Nicholas, Editor and Managing Director of the Mequoda Group, LLC. "At every conference I attend, I am astonished by the need for information, and the desire of the attendees to understand best practices and to understand where online publishing and marketing is heading.
"Mequoda Summit 2005 addresses those needs by bringing in 10 of the industry's top information marketers and publishers to deliver the state-of-the-art, as we know it today, of website publishing," said Nicholas.
Don Nicholas will kick off the summit with the Mequoda Website Publishing Bootcamp. Recently delivered at a Newsletter & Electronic Publishers Association event, the Bootcamp was received very well by the NEPA audience. Roxanne O'Connell and her panel of online marketing and design experts follow with an intensive afternoon of website design best practices.
Day two begins with unique traffic building strategies, learning to sell content with content, and landing page optimization techniques. The summit closes with 4 powerful and thought provoking case studies delivered by the publishers, executives and managers themselves about what is and isn't working for their website publishing enterprises.
