Regency Group USA Announces Plan to Raise $20 Million to Start New Affordable Regency HealthCare Program

After being ignored by politicians, Regency Group USA founder Beverly Winter will raise funds through financial donations from regular citizens to implement a high quality, affordable healthcare plan for everyone in the United States.

Tustin, CA (PRWEB) May 3, 2005 – California resident Beverly Winter is so appalled by the nation's healthcare system that she's decided to do something about it, starting with a couple hundred donated dollars, a lot of determination and her new company, Regency Group USA. Regency Group USA is on its way to raising the funds necessary to develop a new high-quality, affordable healthcare plan for Americans, Regency HealthCare. Winter, founder of Regency Group USA, says she plans on raising the estimated $20 million necessary to start up the new healthcare program by next year.

Winter says her plan to help improve the healthcare system involves developing a “self-sustaining system that doesn't require constant infusions of cash from raising premiums.” The system would involve a flat fee and be available to all persons, “regardless of race, gender, job status or social strata.”

Winter says that the abundance of news articles in this country that include headlines such as “Another Medicare Premium Increase Ahead” (Associated Press, March 25) are far too many. They help drive her toward achieving her goal, and many posted headlines can be seen on her Web site as a reminder that the health care problem in the United States is increasingly getting worse.

In order to raise the necessary funds, Winter has pitched her ideas to help provide excellent health care for every person in America to politicians, prosperous businessmen, highly visible celebrities, many churches and faith-based organizations – but has not received any response. “They are all more concerned with those outside the borders of America rather than American citizens who are in need,” said David Azbell, vice president of Regency Group USA.

Instead of continuing to seek help and support from those she thought could really contribute, Winter began talking to various people, discovering that average citizens (and not politicians) were the ones excited about her goals; they would be the ones to help her launch her idea into a reality.

“We are pleased to announce that the health care vision we have is turning into reality due to the surprise and overwhelming support of the public,” Winter said. After the silence from politicians and other leaders in regards to our pursuit for financial assistance, this support is astounding.”

Winter has already had several financial contributions from various people, and has also had people offer to volunteer their time to helping get her closer to her goal. Winter plans on raising money by continuing to talk to various groups of people, sending out mailers to people across the country, organizing fundraisers and maintaining her new Web site (www. regencyhealthcare. us) which will inform people about her goals. The Web site was launched about a week ago, she says. Winter also plans on gathering more volunteers to help her and the other employees at Regency Group USA.

Regency HealthCare's mission involves empowering all Americans to freely seek medical help without concern for the cost (or deductible costs) of the procedures. The mission also maintains that Regency's responsibility is to provide complete, quality health care for all.

Regency HealthCare is also about “hope and empowering doctors to be doctors again,” she says. And, Winter says the company has designed a system to simplify and automate the patient's, doctor's and hospital's paperwork, which will save time and expense while providing an auditable process.

An outline of the company's coverage plan and exclusions is available on their Web site.
