“We love working with retail designers; there's always a custom component and some new way of approaching a space. Our antique wood offers character and history and intrigue, something fresh sawn wood can't accomplish. Using salvaged barn wood in the 15th Avenue Coffee & Tea and the Roy Street Coffee & Tea brought the projects a warm palette of color, added texture, and an honest material with great history,” said Jered Slusser, Pioneer Millworks, designer sales.

Pioneer Millworks reclaims, salvages, and recycles wood and gives it new life as flooring, millwork, cabinetry, and more. And, they do it here in the USA, in a way that’s healthy for their customers, their employees, and the environment. Their 13-acre NY facility is 100% wind powered and heated with their scrap wood. All of their products are FSC certified and LEED point eligible. A. R.E. is a Hollywood, Florida based non-profit trade association representing retail environments with more than 800 member companies.
