In the spirit of this September's 19th National Recovery Month, The Ranch, a world renowned treatment center in Tennessee, launches a new national movement to organize and rally qualified treatment centers to come together to make treatment and mental health services available for our troops.
The Ranch is leading the way in a Healing Those Who Serve movement by offering one bed per month to our returning veterans and their families.
The Ranch invites providers across the nation to join this groundbreaking network by offering treatment and mental health services to help our veterans and their families reclaim their lives and relationships. To date, five other centers throughout America have answered the call.
Healing Those Who Serve was created to raise funding and awareness in response to the rising number of American War Veterans who suffer from PTSD, military sexual trauma, and related issues, such as alcohol and drug abuse. This unique, holistic lifestyle management program broadens the definition and experience of recovery, and enables our combat troops to reclaim and reconnect with their lives at home.
Therapists at The Ranch are master's level trauma specialists who are EMDR trained and utilize a number of therapeutic modalities to help soldiers regain their lives. When The Ranch opened its doors ten years ago, it became well-known as a healing sanctuary for sufferers of various addictions and disorders, including Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, otherwise known as PTSD. Over the years it has evolved in that field by utilizing some of the newest therapeutic modalities for PTSD, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).
The Ranch is proud to announce its Healing Those Who Serve Network, and invites other qualified treatment centers to organize, rally, and join this most important mission.
