Streamlogics Announces Unprecedented Flexibility for Webcast Administrators

Latest release of EVENT platform empowers reseller and enterprise administrators to self manage elements of their webcast events.

Toronto, ON (PRWEB) December 7, 2006

Streamlogics, a leading global provider of webcasting applications and services, today announced the release of EVENT 4.0, an online application which empowers webcast administrators to manage components of their live and on-demand events.

EVENT now includes more than 20 new point and click features and enabling technologies, and introduces new levels of customization and control for customers who choose to manage components of their online presentations. EVENT also supports multiple interface languages, including English, Spanish, French, and German.

"Streamlogics has delivered thousands of webcasts over the past seven years," said Shaun McIver, President and CEO of Streamlogics. "EVENT incorporates our best practices into one powerful, yet easy to use application."

"The webcasting market continues to grow at a healthy rate," reports Ira Weinstein, Analyst and Partner at Wainhouse Research. "With the release of EVENT 4.0, Streamlogics has taken its rich media platform to new heights in terms of ease of use, flexibility, and control. This is a powerful and noteworthy release from one of the leading performers in the webcasting space."

EVENT enables webcast administrators to customize branding and other features such as moderated Q&A, slide upload, sign-off and push, polling, testing, and continuing education (CE) credits. The CE feature enables presenters to automatically issue online certificates based on predefined qualifiers such as passing a test or viewing an entire presentation. EVENT also offers powerful online reports, including participant analytics. New security features include SSL, password protection, user list access, domain referral access, IP filtering, and email filtering.

New features, designed to increase attendance to live webcasts, have also been built into the EVENT platform, including a feature which enables users to broadcast e-mail reminders from within the administration console. Attendees who pre-register for events can also import event details into their Microsoft Outlook calendars.

In addition, a Web conference can be integrated with any live event, enabling audience members to access the audio portion of the presentation either as an audio stream or using a standard telephone bridge. As a result, audience bandwidth constraints can be easily managed.
