Debbie Roe, Clinical Systems Specialist with Thornberry Ltd. will be presenting at the Virginia Association for Home Care & Hospice's 24th Annual Conference and Trade Show held April 2-3rd in Williamsburg, VA.
Thornberry Ltd., a home health software company and developers of NDoc® an information management system for home care agencies and hospices, will also be exhibiting at the Virginia Home Care Show. Debbie Roe will present a session titled "How implementing an electronic documentation system helped achieve a deficiency-free survey," based on her 25 years experience in a certified home care agency, up till the date she joined Thornberry in July, 2006. Debbie will share her agency story and the dramatic change that occurred following the implementation of an electronic documentation system.
The session will explore the challenges facing an agency using a paper based documentation system, how management practices and performance improvement can be enhanced by implementing an electronic documentation system, and the positive affects of automation on patient care.
Before joining Thornberry Debbie worked for the Ocean County Board of Health in NJ heading the task force that selected NDoc as their home health software. Debbie was responsible for the implementation and training for the new system. Now, Debbie works closely with Thornberry customers and staff to help ensure the quality and effectiveness of NDoc implementations. She is directly involved in implementation, training, documentation and quality assurance.
The show is the largest gathering of home care industry leaders in Virginia. The conference gives home health professionals the opportunity to learn about new services in the home healthcare industry and make new business connections.
Conference attendees will be able to demo NDoc at the trade show. Attendees will be able to learn how the management software is helping agencies to improve patient and agency outcomes. Thornberry has products installed in more than 40 locations and supports over 1300 users nationwide.
