The Oldest Massage Organization—The New York State Society of Medical Massage Therapists—honors Golden Ratio Woodworks

The New York State Society of Medical Massage Therapists (NYSSMMT) honored Golden Ratio Woodworks at their 75th Anniversary Gala dinner at the Château Briande on Long Island, November 23, 2002.

Long Island, New York. NYSSMMT President Patti Cadolino presented the award to Lynda Solien-Wolfe, Public Relations Director for Golden Ratio, who accepted it on the companyÂ’s behalf.

Golden Ratio Woodworks was honored for their support after the September 11th disaster with the donation of over 40 chairs for on-site massage relief efforts.

“It is a privilege to be affiliated with a professional organization like the NYSSMMT. And it is an honor for Golden Ratio to receive this recognition. However, we were still just trying to do our part in a time of national crisis,” shared John Fanuzzi, Golden Ratio’s president.

The NYSSMMT is the oldest professional massage organization in the United States and just celebrated its 75th Birthday.

2. To seek enactment of laws to promote a high standard for the profession of Massage Therapy.

3. To uphold the ethical standards for the profession of Massage Therapy and for its members.

4. To prevent abuses by illegal and unethical practitioners.
