AVST Expands Offices and Executive Team

Continued growth triggers leading unified communications provider to open new headquarters, expand Bellevue office and strengthen senior executive team.

Foothill Ranch, CA (PRWEB) November 14, 2005

Applied Voice & Speech Technologies, Inc. (AVST) today announced it has expanded its corporate offices and continues to strengthen its executive management team. Following a year of continued growth and success, the company recently opened new headquarters in Orange County, Calif., expanded its office in Seattle, Wash., and, over the past several months, has added three key members to its senior executive team.

In October 2005, AVST moved its corporate headquarters to larger facilities to accommodate the company’s current and projected growth. The new headquarters, which will include a state of the art executive briefing center and application testing lab, is located in Orange County, Calif. The company also expanded its facilities in Seattle, Wash., in order to accommodate a growing sales and marketing department and add additional customer briefing venues.

As a leading provider of unified communications solutions, AVST addresses the changing communications needs of businesses of all sizes, from SMB’s to the enterprise. Strengthening an already seasoned executive team, AVST has added, over the past several months, the managerial experience of Mike Berlin as Vice President of Business Development, Tom Brattvet as Vice President of Sales and Jeff Schuett as Vice President of Operations. AVST will leverage the combined talents of Schuett, Berlin and Brattvet to improve operational efficiencies, penetrate new markets and evangelize the business benefits of a second generation communications infrastructure.

“We are excited about this new phase of growth and expansion,” said AVST’s President and CEO Hardy Myers. “Mike, Tom and Jeff bring more than 65 years of combined experience that complements our team and will advance our business development, sales and operational objectives.”

“Companies look to AVST as a long-term communications technology partner that will continue to deliver solutions that help them ’future-proof’ their existing and planned communications infrastructure investments,” added Myers. “Our products provide a bridge from the legacy PBX systems currently used in the enterprise, to the VoIP and wireless technologies of tomorrow.”
