Torrance, CA (PRWEB) April 18, 2008

iCRco Inc., completed installation of their Digital CR unit at JEM Educational Services in Corona, California. JEM Educational Services has been approved by the California Department of Public Health, Radiologic Health Branch (RHB) to offer the 20 hour curriculum necessary to operate this equipment.

JEM Educational Services demonstrates digital radiography in their course with iCRco CR equipment. JEM Educational Services desired a diagnostic radiography unit that is reliable and user friendly as the X-ray Technicians become familiar with digital imaging. It is a known fact that reliability and image quality are important in educational courses to keep up the momentum of the class and proper training of the participants.

The State of California passed into law SB 1670 (Digital Radiography) in January, 2007, which became enacted on March 15, 2008. This law allows X-ray Technicians to legally use digital radiography equipment in the State of California provided they have taken the approved course of education and submitted an application to the State for authorization.

"It's important to be able to educate X-ray Technicians with appropriate and updated information and equipment. To be able to demonstrate with a CR unit that provides the software and functions for quality patient imaging while maintaining radiation safety is imperative for the x-ray user" stated Linda Ortega, Certified Radiologic Technologist and course instructor.

ICRco, Inc. partnered with JEM Educational Services to provide these X-ray Technicians and students with the best digital radiography equipment in the market. While offering incentives to seminar participants, iCRco also offers a "Free Course" to new customers. Any physician's office or clinic that would like to send their X-ray Technician to JEM Educations Services to attain their authorization to operate digital equipment can do so for free when they purchase an iCRco CR Solution.

"Our goal is to have all technicians up to date with the State requirements when using Digital Equipment. We are excited to have provided JEM with our CR Solution. They are training these technicians to go out in the job world, operating these technologically advanced systems and we are glad they are starting with ours. After being trained on one of our units, they will have a very high expectation from their equipment when thy put their training to use" added Stephen Neushul, President and CEO of iCRco, Inc.

The RHB approved twenty hour, digital curriculum, one of the first approved in California, has been conducting sessions since October 2007 at JEM Educational Services. This three day curriculum, designed and conducted for X-ray Technicians is also approved by the American Society of Radiologic Technologists (ASRT) for 20 hour of Continuing Education category "A" units.
