Sarasota, Fla. (PRWEB) November 20, 2009

Voalté (http://www. voalte. com), a Sarasota-based software company that provides healthcare communications solutions at the point-of-care, recently announced the appointment of four new hires, Kristian Kielhofner as Lead VoIP Engineer, Robbie Hanson as Lead iPhone Developer, Austin Paramore as Project Manager, and Caston Thomas as Sales Executive.

In his position as Lead VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) Engineer, Kielhofner will be responsible for the design and development of the Voice over IP servers for the Voalté One software system. “Kielhofner is one of the world’s leading experts on Asterisk (software that turns an ordinary computer into a voice communications server), and he is the author of ASTlinux, a custom Linux distribution centered around Asterisk, the open source PBX,” said Rob Campbell, CEO of Voalté.

Robbie Hanson, a master of iPhone engineering, joins Voalté as Lead iPhone Developer. Hanson has worked on key Mac and iPhone components and has programmed the XMPP framework for Cocoa. He recently relocated from Missouri to join the Voalté team. Hanson will be involved with all phases of iPhone software development.

Paramore joined the company as Project Manager. He graduated with honors from the Warrington School of Business at the University of Florida with focuses on New Venture Creation and Global Management. He was most recently with Hellman Worldwide Logistics where he was responsible for overseeing the Seattle operations for Norwegian Cruise Lines. In his new position, Paramore will work with hospitals nationwide on systems installation, project management and clinical training.

Caston Thomas, an industry veteran with 20 years of healthcare IT (http://www. voalte. com) and communications sales experience, joins Voalté as Sales Executive. Thomas will be based near Detroit, and will be responsible for the Midwest region.

“We are excited over our rapid growth at Voalté,” said Campbell. “As we expand and add to our portfolio, we will continue to grow our team to ensure our future success and our commitment to providing phenomenal customer service.”

Voalté One provides healthcare point-of-care (http://www. voalte. com) workers with voice, alarm and text services all on the Apple iPhone. The solution allows clinicians to spend more time providing patient care and less time hunting and gathering information. Because Voalté One solves real communication problems for hospitals, nurses are more responsive to their patients.

Voalté recently completed its pilot with Sarasota Memorial Hospital and the company has begun to roll out the solution to leading hospitals throughout the U. S.
