The reality is Susan Stuart, M. D. didn't just do something right in 2007. She has a track record of doing everything right, beginning with her undergraduate education at Duke University where she was elected into Phi Beta Kappa, a prestigious academic honor bestowed upon but a small fraction of undergrads who achieve the highest standards of scholarship. She didn't stop there, going on to receive her M. D. from Tulane University School of Medicine. Success built upon success, and she soon completed a one-year dermatology research fellowship at San Diego's Mercy Hospital Medical Center. Then, it was off to Emory University, one of the country's most acclaimed dermatology training programs, where she completed still another residency. Finally, she fulfilled a one-year postgraduate dermatology fellowship in pediatric dermatology at Stanford University Medical Center.
So, where does one go from there? For this particular dermatologist, San Diego seemed like the perfect place to call home. And that's where the real story begins, in the here and now, because quite frankly one wouldn't expect a doctor whose job it is to combat the signs of aging to live in the past.
Of course, reducing or preventing lines, wrinkles and age spots is not the San Diego dermatologist's only job.
