Healthy Changes from William Russell New Global Health Plans for 2007
William Russell announce changes to their expatriates' Global Health plans for 2007
(PRWEB) March 2, 2007
William Russell has been providing international health insurance for expatriates of all nationalities since 1992.
The start of 2007 has seen international insurance provider, William Russell (http://www. william-russell. com/ (http://www. william-russell. com/)), announcing changes to their already established Global Health (http://www. william-russell. com/health/default2007def. asp (http://www. william-russell. com/health/default2007def. asp)) plan range and the splitting into two separate products - Global Health Elite for comprehensive world-wide cover and Global Health Essential for cost-effective regional cover. Collectively, the changes to the Global Health brand are intended to extend coverage and offer a wide-ranging choice of plans to match the requirements of an ever-changing marketplace.
The new Global Health Elite (http://www. william-russell. com/health/elitekeyfeaturesdef. asp (http://www. william-russell. com/health/elitekeyfeaturesdef. asp)) plan provides comprehensive cover, taking care of all aspects of health care including cover for routine maternity care, dental treatment and preventive health screening. Replacing the 2006 Global Health plans, Global Health Elite includes four plans, Bronze, Silver, Gold and a new top-of-the-range Platinum plan for those who require top-level international cover with high-value benefit limits.
Inez Cooper, Managing Director of William Russell commented, "Some clients - particularly with families and in areas where there are good, but expensive, medical facilities - require comprehensive cover for a wide range of medical benefits which our top-quality Elite plans continue to provide."
Comprehensive international health plans can often be costly however, which is why William Russell created the Global Health Essential (http://www. william-russell. com/health/essentialkeyfeaturesdef. asp (http://www. william-russell. com/health/essentialkeyfeaturesdef. asp)) plan range with the needs of cost-conscious expats in mind.
"The needs of expatriate clients are becoming more diverse. Some clients simply want reassurance that if the worst happens - a serious accident, cancer or a heart attack - their in-patient bills and specialist care will be taken care of. Our Essential Care plan, for example, is priced approximately 18% less than our Elite Bronze plan, making affordable expatriate health care cover available to a wider audience," says Cooper.
The Essential (http://www. william-russell. com/health/essentialbenefitsnew. asp (http://www. william-russell. com/health/essentialbenefitsnew. asp)) plan range has been created specifically for expats who need cover only for the 'must have' essential, expensive elements of health care, such as to provide for possible hospitalisation costs, specialist medical treatment and emergency evacuation, but who are not looking for cover for primary medical care such as family doctor visits and treatments.
Essential Care and Essential Care Plus are available to residents of Africa, the Middle East and the Far East. Both plans offer full cover within a chosen area, with cover outside that area limited to accident and emergency treatment only.
