Casenet Appoints Ruth Rose to Senior Vice President of Product Development
Senior Executive Hire Achieves Milestone for Casenet

Casenet, a leading provider of health management solutions, today announced that it has named Ruth Rose as Senior Vice President – Product Development. She will oversee all aspects of TruCareTM product development including product management, technical architecture, application development and quality assurance.
“Ruth brings a wealth of experience to Casenet not only in care management systems development, but eight years of experience as a software vendor. She will play a key role driving Casenet’s new generation TruCare product toward new markets actively seeking health management solutions as we continue to execute on our global market strategy,” said Kevin Brown, CEO of Casenet.
Most recently, Ms. Rose served as Vice President, Implementation and Technology for Health Management Corporation (HMC), a wholly owned care management subsidiary of Wellpoint. As part of her responsibilities, Ms. Rose managed a 150-person software development and support team that developed and maintained care management applications, complex telephony and network infrastructure services for 6 national call centers, and additional operational services, serving Wellpoint as its primary customer.
Characteristically, Ms. Rose drives innovation in both care delivery and technology by fostering collaborative design of new products and services, leveraging existing investments, optimizing organizational designs and exploiting new technologies such as social networking and mobile applications. With this approach she has earned a successful track record of delivering cost-effective, high quality services for health plans and TPAs.
Prior to Wellpoint/HMC, Ms. Rose held the role of Vice President of Product Management at ViPS, an Emdeon company. Before VIPs, Ms. Rose served as Vice President of Product Management at Landacorp which was acquired by SHPS. Ms. Rose’ career began in clinical nursing and health care administration at the University of Maryland Medical Systems and Montgomery General Hospital.
Ms. Rose holds a nursing degree from the University of Maryland and a Masters in Healthcare Administration from Towson University. Ms. Rose has over 30 years experience in clinical nursing and care management software development and operations.
