Stowe's Green Mountain Inn, a historic hotel in the mountains of Vermont, is unveiling a new conference room featuring all of the latest technologies.
Stowe, VT (PRWEB) August 23, 2007
One of Vermont's most historic hotels, the Green Mountain Inn, now offers a high tech meeting room in the midst of the Green Mountains. A private entrance to the Village Room in the historic part of the Inn, dating back to 1833, leads visitors into a space for meetings and other events that is both inspirational and functional. The newly renovated Village Room features wireless Internet, large screen TVs, conference calling, surround sound systems and electronic wall mounted screens.
The modern amenities of the Village Room blend into the classic traditional inn backdrop. New French doors open to a balcony, which offers a picturesque view of the inn's grounds. Beautiful woodwork, high ceilings with architectural detail, exposed beams, and wainscoting are accented by elegant brass chandeliers and wall sconces. A full bar is planned, and food service is currently offered by Green Mountain Inn's acclaimed Whip Bar & Grill. Area businesses are already taking advantage of the newly designed space.
"The new conference room is comfortable, bright and airy," said Linda Goodman from SUSS MicroTec. "The space is very attractive, and the inn offers the best breakfast buffet in the area in terms of variety, quality and presentation."
The renovated Village Room is ideal for business meetings or small conferences, as it holds 85 people with theatre style seating, 40 with classroom style seating, and 32 with boardroom seating. With the flexibility of the room and the special attention to detail provided by Green Mountain Inn's Event Sales Manager, Andrea Belforti, the Village Room can also accommodate a variety of special events including cocktail parties (capacity of 120) or private dinner parties (capacity of 100).
