ENT and Allergy Associates, LLP (ENTA) is proud to announce that--effective November 1st—otolaryngologists B. Todd Schaeffer, MD and Moshe Ephrat, MD have merged their existing Lake Success office into ENTA.

in an ongoing effort to offer its unparalleled breadth and depth of services to even more patients on Long Island, ENT and Allergy Associates, LLP (ENTA) is proud to announce that--effective November 1st—otolaryngologists B. Todd Schaeffer, MD and Moshe Ephrat, MD have merged their existing Lake Success office into ENTA. This will bring the Practice's overall total to over 110 physicians across 34 clinical office locations, including two other offices in Long Island (Garden City).

B. Todd Schaeffer, MD a board certified surgeon who specializes in surgery of the nose, face, neck, sinuses and skull base, has been performing endoscopic and laser procedures for over twenty years since graduating from the Mount Sinai School of Medicine. He is the Chief and Associate Chairman of the Department of Otolaryngology - Communicative Disorders at North Shore University Hospital at Manhasset, and holds a dual teaching position as an Assistant Clinical Professor of Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery at The Mount Sinai School of Medicine and Hofstra University School of Medicine North Shore - LIJ Health. In these capacities, he has helped train the next generation of facial plastic and endoscopic head and neck surgeons

Dr. Schaeffer has also been involved in local and national organizational affairs. Locally, as President of the Long Island Society of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery; nationally, as a committee member in legislative, public relations and carrier relations committees for several different Academies.

Dr. Moshe Ephrat is a fellowship trained and Board Certified surgeon with expertise and interests in facial plastic and reconstructive surgery as well as all aspects of ear, nose and throat surgery. He graduated from Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York, then completed his residency in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at Long Island Jewish Medical Center, of the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. In addition, Dr. Ephrat was awarded a fellowship devoted to facial plastic and reconstructive surgery with Dr. Fred Stucker. He has special interests in rhinoplasty, sinus surgery, and facial injectables using the latest techniques and products.

Dr. Ephrat teaches surgeons in training with his academic appointments as an Assistant Clinical Professor for the Albert Einstein College of Medicine as well as the Hofstra North Shore - LIJ School of Medicine. He also holds a leadership position as the Vice President for the Long Island Society of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery.
