Believing that humor is the key to societal health, The Theatre Department takes a very serious equal opportunity poke at the ultimate representation of our American standards: the beauty pageant. Miss Biracial Upper Midwest-1984 was first presented to sold out houses at as part of the 2000 Jerome Performance Art Commission.

Heather Wilson, performing as her long time alter ego, the self-styled “Legendary Foxy Tann”, has recognizes the regional importance of her story. She takes you down memory lane to the event started it all: the Miss Biracial Upper Midwest Beauty Pageant of 1984, Wisconsin’s only politically incorrect pageant of poise, parentage and plentitude. With their unique style, The Fox and her good friends have invited you into her den of high hair and cheap jokes as she reveals her rise to stardom!
