Paws Across America and Bash Dibra Salute May's National Pet Month Walk Your Dog for Both Fun and Health

Bash Dibra and his Paws Across America celebrate National Pet Month

New York, NY (PRWEB) May 2, 2007

Bash Dibra, animal behaviorist, celebrity pet trainer and author sees the importance of the human animal bond and is giving his full support to National Pet Month which takes place during May.

On Sunday, May 6th, Bash will be at Riverside Park for the American Cancer Society "Dogswalk Against Cancer -- New York -- a non-competitive dog walk-a-thon to raise money for the fight against human and animal cancers. He will be signing copies of his latest book "StarPet, How to Make Your Pet A Star." And Bash stresses "walking your dog is healthy exercise for both you and your dog!"

On Saturday, May 12th, Bash will participate in Bide-A-Wee's "Fitness with Fido in New York" as their "celebrity dog trainer.' Participants and their dogs meet at the Pedestrian Entrance at 60th Street and Fifth Avenue at 10:00AM to take a walk in the park... Central Park that is. Walking your dog is a fun way for both you both to get the exercise you need. It's also a good way to "get into the habit" of walking your dog every day. Bash says exercising your dog can solve many problems that you might be having with them such as destructive behavior, excessive barking, and just plain boredom. And before you know it, its lots of fun for you, your dog will love you for it, and your neighbors will be happy too.

Bash is an animal behaviorist, and a celebrity dog trainer -- he's trained pets of stars such as Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick, Mariah Carey, Jennifer Lopez, Ron Howard, and Martin Scorsese. He's also a renowned author of six books and a video, "Teach Your Dog to Behave; Dog Training By Bash, DogSpeak, CatSpeak; Your Dream Dog: a Guide to Choosing the Right Breed for You," StarPet, "How To Make Your Pet A Star," and a video and DVD "Teach your Dog to Behave."
