Atlanta, GA (Vocus) June 18, 2010 -- Healthcare Solutions, the leading provider of technology-based healthcare cost management solutions for the workers’ compensation and auto insurance markets, today announced that the company has been selected as the 7th Fastest Growing Middle-Market company in Georgia by Georgia Trend magazine. The award was presented to Healthcare Solutions at the 2010 Fast 40 Gala Dinner and Awards Presentation on June 17 at the Ritz-Carlton in Atlanta.
Companies recognized for the award had to demonstrate three years of sustained revenue and employment growth. The CPA firm Cherry Bekaert & Holland, LLC (CB&H) rated the top companies based on a weighted growth rate; 75 percent toward revenue growth and 25 percent toward employee growth. Healthcare Solutions was recognized in the large middle-market company category, which included companies with revenues between $60 million to $500 million.
“Payers in the workers’ compensation and auto insurance markets use Healthcare Solutions because the company’s innovative technology-based programs reduce medical costs and associated administrative burden,” said David A. George, CEO, Healthcare Solutions. “In addition to significant new customer commitments, the company enjoys a customer retention rate of 99%.”
Over the past five years, Healthcare Solutions has increased revenues over 30% each year. In 2005, company revenues were $76 million compared to revenues of $232 million in 2009. To keep pace with business growth and customer commitments, the company plans to add up to 300 jobs over the next few years.
“Healthcare Solutions will continue to increase market share because of its commitment to developing market-leading technology solutions that assist customers in gaining management control over healthcare expenditures,” said George. “The market has been in need of innovative ideas and applied technology and Healthcare Solutions will continue to deliver both to positively impact customer results.”
