The agreement permits Tutornet Group to integrate its interactive software with Harvest’s search engine and develop an interactive search service focused on Education (“Tutornet INSIGHT™”).
Tutornet INSIGHT is designed to provide Internet search results tailored to the requestor’s need by focusing on the context of the searcher’s question. Existing Internet search engines can burden users with thousands of candidate answers. Tutornet INSIGHT™ plans to narrow Internet searches, if needed, with interactive assistance to yield fewer, but more relevant, answers. This unique capability will take Tutornet INSIGHT™ beyond Internet search capabilities available today. The targeted education market segment for this new capability includes students and teachers in Kindergarten through College, certification for professionals (law, accounting, and health professionals) and adult and vocational education such as home improvement, gardening, and financial and tax planning.
