Mark Meinberg Elected to Board of Governors, Accountants Club of America
Mark L. Meinberg, CPA, managing partner of Feldman, Meinberg & Co., LLP, headquartered in Syosset, has been elected to serve on the Board of Governors of the Accountants Club of America. The Club was formed in 1927 to provide a forum for the leaders of the accounting profession to meet on a social rather than professional level and so forge relationships for the advancement of professional ideals.

Originally open only to certified or chartered public accountants, membership was later extended to corporate accountants and those with continuing interest in areas related to accounting, including attorneys, bankers, credit grantors, academics and related professionals. Membership is by invitation and must be proposed by two members of the Club and approved by the Board of Governors.
“I am pleased to join the Club’s Board of Governors and have the chance to interact with this group of extremely talented and knowledgeable professionals,” said Mr. Meinberg. “Our quarterly luncheons also afford me the opportunity to discuss timely and diverse issues with prominent speakers from outside the accounting profession, including corporate executives, journalists, authors and public officials.”
The author of professional articles and a frequent lecturer, Mark has been a guest speaker for professional, educational and business organizations. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants (NYSSCPA) where he currently serves on the Managing Partners Committee. Mark serves on the Board of Directors of the Nassau Chapter of the NYSSCPA and is also Chairman of its Management of an Accounting Practice Committee.
He is Chairman and founder of the Regional Small-Size Managing Partners Forum and serves on the Advisory Committee of the Nassau County Financial Project.
