No more cry babies! Get in shape and get that date! It doesn't matter whether you are a couch potato with expert channel surfing skills and frequent refrigerator "sprints" or a gym rat who is not able to do cardio more than 5 minutes because of all that iron pumping. It doesn't matter whether you want to lose weight, gain muscle, firm up abs, triceps or butt or work on the cardio. You'll get it all at Beach Boot Camp on Fort Lauderdale Beach. Retired army Lieutenant Colonel Bob Weinstein, who is 53 years "young", introduces the civilians to his style of staying in shape and keeping it that way. His workout turns back the biological clock. New years resolutions and gym visits have not brought about the necessary physical and mental change to sustain good eating and exercise habits. "The buck stops here!" Your mind and body will be "reformed" to achieve those results you have always wanted but kept telling yourself "that's not possible for me."
Col. Weinstein call's this busy personÂs workout. CanÂt figure out how to find the time to work the upper body, then the lower and then the cardio? This class is a back to nature approach of combining cardio, strength, flexibility and agility all into one class. As the name "Beach Boot Camp" states, this workout is on the beach and includes a fun and challenging mix of body weight exercises and some jogging with the use of the resistance band to add more variety to the upper body workout. No two classes are identical. The emphasis, intensity and frequency of the various exercises make this class the foundation of all the workouts offered. Colonel Weinstein and his workout have been featured on television's History Channel, Fox Sports Net, Univision, Comcast Newsmakers and HD News. Colonel Weinstein has also been featured in various local and national publications and newspapers.

Asked why such a partnership with Events and Adventures is a good idea, Col. Weinstein replies, "This is an excellent opportunity to combine the social, recreational and health benefits. The participants can have lots of fun while being on the beach enjoying the ocean and fresh air. Tourists pay thousands of dollars just to enjoy this beach. We have it at our finger-tips so let's take advantage."
One of the frequent questions Col. Weinstein gets from spectators during his beach workouts is, "Is there a war going on here?"
Col. Weinstein's response, "Yes, there's a war going on in this country. There are enemy soldiers on American soil. We know who they are. Their names are Cancer, Heart Disease and Stroke. They're killing over 3,000 Americans a day and causing pain and suffering of many thousands more. I want to arm Americans with healthy eating and exercise habits to take out these enemy soldiers and reduce and prevent the pain and suffering caused by them. My mission is to inspire and motivate others to lead healthier and happier lives by eating healthy and exercising regularly."
